So the rumors swirling around the streets of the southside consist of Ozzie Guillen, manager of the SOX, getting ready to be fired after the cubs-sox series. Well those rumors were turned down by Jerry Reinsdorf today after he said Ozzie will not be fired. The reason the rumor started was because the relationship between Ozzie and Kenny Williams was deteriorating. Reinsdorf addressed those rumors stating that instead of Williams firing Ozzie, Williams must repair his relationship with Ozzie instead. Now I personally believe that Ozzie is a great manager. A manager is supposed to be a person who shows responsibility and enthusiasm in the clubhouse. He is also supposed to motivate his players to believe in themselves and that they can get the job done and that is what Ozzie does. Probably better than guys like Torre and LaRusa and Valentine. There has been a lot of problems in the clubhouse this year but they are starting to regroup and have gone on a monster run. I'm glad Ozzie is staying and I hope is around for years to come. He is the manager the SOX need.
